Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced network engineer to support enterprise routing and switching in a fast-paced environment. You will configure and maintain Cisco Catalyst 9300/9500 switches, implement VLANs, OSPF, and EtherChannel per high-level designs.

You will monitor networks with SolarWinds, manage incidents via ServiceNow, document solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on greenfield deployments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in enterprise routing and switching.
• Knowledge of Cisco Catalyst 9300/9500 series (StackWise, EtherChannel, VLANs, OSPF).
• Experience with a network monitoring platform (SolarWinds) and threshold/alert config.
• Experience with ITSM/ticketing tools (ServiceNow) for incident and change management.
• Solid troubleshooting skills across Layer 2/Layer 3 issues.
• Ability to read and work from HLD/LLD documentation and network diagrams.
• CCNA is required; CCNP Enterprise strongly preferred.
• Strong written documentation and clear verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Comfortable with greenfield/new-build deployments with evolving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain enterprise routing and switching infrastructure.
• Implement VLANs, OSPF, and EtherChannel on Catalyst switches.
• Monitor network health using SolarWinds and configure thresholds/alerts.
• Support ITSM processes via ServiceNow for incidents and changes.
• Document solutions and assist cross-functional teams on deployments.
• Assist with greenfield deployments and evolving requirements.
