Job summary

Connection in Falls Church, VA seeks a Network Engineer with a DoD SECRET clearance to expand the Network Access Control (NAC) capabilities. This long-term contract role ishybrid and includes excellent benefits. You will work with a team to enhance NAC functionality and security posture.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in network engineering, familiarity with NAC platforms (ForeScout, Cisco ISE, ClearPass), and strong communication skills. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of network engineering experience.

Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for a Network Engineer in Falls Church, VA. This is a long-term contract opportunity that is Hybrid and offers outstanding benefits.

The candidate must possess a previous (within 2 years) or existing United Stated SECRET clearance.

The Network Engineer will focus on expanding the capabilities of theNetwork Access Control (NAC) systemand will play a key role in current NAC environment and working with a team to add new functionalities.

• Strong understanding of network security concepts, including access control principles.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
