HII Mission Technologies in Fort Belvoir, VA is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design and modernize Army IT and communications networks for a 2026 start. The role spans architecture, deployment planning, and coordination with US Army, DoD, and USG personnel. On-site work and travel up to 25% are expected.

The position requires a degree in a relevant field, 8+ years PM experience, PMP, and readiness for TOP SECRET with SCI eligibility; CCNP/CCIE are preferred certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, economics, computer science, engineering, or relevant degree. Additional 4+ years of relevant experience allowed in lieu of degree.
• 8+ years relevant project management experience
• Project Management Professional Certification
• Willingness to pursue TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility
• Project Manager(s) are expected to be available onsite at B/P/C/S during active project(s)
• On-site work at Ft Belvoir, VA during normal business hours.
• Up to 25% travel expected to US Army CONUS sites during deployment phases

Responsibilities

• Architect and support modernization, expansion, enhancement, and upgrades across US Army IT infrastructure, systems, and communications.
• Analyze site survey reports, recommend upgrades, craft network architectures, and assist leads in deployment planning.
• Interact with US Army, DoD, and USG personnel, briefing technical plans and aligning with acquisition and supply chain requirements.
