Job description

About TensorWave

Our mission is simple: deliver seamless, secure, reliable, and resilient AI compute at scale. We've built a versatile cloud platform that eliminates infrastructure barriers, empowering builders to focus on innovation instead of fighting their stack. Because breakthrough AI should move at the speed of ideas, not infrastructure.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Network Engineer to join our Corporate IT team during a period of significant growth and infrastructure modernization. In this role, you will help design, implement, operate, and improve TensorWave’s corporate network infrastructure, with an initial focus on the modernization of our network.

This role is intended for an experienced hands‑on network engineer with a strong foundation in Cisco enterprise networking. You will own defined networking workstreams, troubleshoot complex network issues, maintain network infrastructure, and work closely with internal teams and technology partners.

You will also serve as a technical resource to the Corporate IT team by sharing networking knowledge, reviewing configurations, assisting with troubleshooting, and helping develop networking capabilities across the team.

What You’ll Do
  • Implement, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, and network security infrastructure.
  • Own defined networking workstreams within Corporate IT infrastructure initiatives.
  • Configure and support Cisco switching, routing, wireless, and related networking technologies.
  • Support redundant Internet connectivity, high-availability network designs, WAN failover, and SD-WAN technologies.
  • Configure and maintain VLANs, routing, spanning tree, link aggregation, access controls, network segmentation, and related Layer 2/Layer 3 technologies.
  • Support enterprise authentication technologies including 802.1X, RADIUS, certificate‑based authentication, and network access controls.
  • Work with firewall and security teams to implement network segmentation, access policies, VPN connectivity, and security controls.
  • Monitor network availability, performance, capacity, and reliability and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Troubleshoot complex connectivity and performance issues using network diagnostic and packet‑analysis tools.
  • Maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration documentation, IP addressing information, connection schedules, standards, and operating procedures.
  • Participate in network changes, upgrades, migrations, maintenance, and incident response.
  • Work with telecommunications carriers, technology vendors, managed service providers, and other external partners as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve network reliability, scalability, security, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
  • Share technical knowledge and networking best practices with Corporate IT team members and provide peer mentoring and technical guidance.
  • Support the development of repeatable network standards that can be applied across TensorWave corporate locations.
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead, mentor, and collaborate with team members to achieve shared objectives
  • Set clear expectations and provide feedback to support performance and development
  • Foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement
Operational Excellence
  • Design, implement, and improve scalable processes and workflows
  • Ensure high‑quality execution, documentation, and communication
  • Leverage tools and technology to enhance productivity and visibility
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable laws or regulations

  • Experience troubleshooting complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 network issues.
  • Experience supporting enterprise wireless networks.
  • Experience with network segmentation, access controls, and security fundamentals.
  • Experience working with redundant WAN connectivity and high‑availability network environments.
  • Ability to independently own technical deliverables and troubleshoot issues through resolution.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with IT, Security, Infrastructure, vendors, and other technical teams.
