Zachary Piper Solutions in Amarillo, TX seeks an Onsite Network Engineer to support a government consulting organization. The role focuses on mission-critical enterprise networking using Cisco technologies within a secured environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining 99.9% network availability, troubleshooting incidents, administering Cisco routing and switching (ISE), and managing DNS/DHCP/IPAM, VoIP, and wireless deployments. A TS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience or minimum 10 years of experience in network engineering, network operations, or network infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco enterprise routing and switching technologies.
• Must hold an active Top Secret US government clearance.

• Develop lifecycle management, patching, upgrade, rollback, and change management plans while maintaining technical documentation and ServiceNow RFC compliance.

This position offers the opportunity to support mission-critical enterprise network infrastructure in a highly secure environment while working with advanced Cisco networking technologies and supporting an active pipeline of federal programs.

Responsibilities of the Network Engineer include:

• Maintain 99.9% availability of enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, data center fabrics, and wireless environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, outages, and performance issues while meeting established SLA requirements.

Compensation for the Network Engineer includes:

• Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000 (based on experience)
