Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Onsite Network Engineer to support a government client in Amarillo, TX. You will manage enterprise Cisco routing and switching, and ensure high-availability network services in a secure environment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting incidents, administering Cisco ISE and related networking services, and documenting changes while complying with service standards. Active TS clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience or minimum 10 years of experience in network engineering, network operations, or network infrastructure.
• Experience with Cisco enterprise routing and switching technologies.
• Strong knowledge of network troubleshooting, operations, monitoring, performance optimization, and capacity planning.
• Active Top Secret US government clearance required.

• Maintain 99.9% availability of enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, data center fabrics, and wireless environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, outages, and performance issues while meeting SLA requirements.
• Administer Cisco routing, switching, Cisco ISE, network access devices, identity groups, and access control services.
• Manage network services including load balancers, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, VoIP administration, and wireless AP deployments.
• Develop lifecycle management, patching, upgrade, rollback, and change management plans with documentation and ServiceNow RFC compliance.

This position offers the opportunity to support mission‑critical enterprise network infrastructure in a highly secure environment while working with advanced Cisco networking technologies and supporting an active pipeline of federal programs.

Responsibilities of the Network Engineer include:

• Maintain 99.9% availability of enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, data center fabrics, and wireless environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, outages, and performance issues while meeting established SLA requirements.

Compensation for the Network Engineer includes:

• Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000 (based on experience)
