Job summary

Technology Science Corporation seeks a network professional to maintain enterprise networks and security across LAN/WAN environments. You will support day-to-day operations of hardware and data communications to minimize downtime and maximize performance.

The role requires CCNA or higher certification and a CompTIA Security+ at start. Experience with COMSEC, AV/VTC, and SIPR/NIPR/SVTC is highly desirable. Healthcare and 401k benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Requires CCNA Route/Switch or higher and Security+ at start of work.
• 4+ years enterprise network or network security experience.
• Desirable experience with Trip Kits, TACLAN, COMSEC, AV/VTC, SIPR/NIPR/SVTC.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining networks in a LAN/WAN environment and day-to-day operations of enterprise-level hardware and data communications by minimizing system downtime and maximizing system performance.
• Maintains network security and data protection through monitoring of devices, software authenticity, and firewall protection.
• Maintains communications system requirements including WAN, Internet and Private connections to all sites. Interfaces with vendors.
• Personnel shall be capable of handling COMSEC equipment and shall sign the periodic COMSEC briefing provided by Company security
• Desirable experience with “Trip Kits” and troubleshooting
• Personnel shall be Microsoft Windows literate for performing some duties.
• Personnel shall update the ticketing system in a timely manner, including calling into the Network Operation Center for on-site arrival and off-site departure.

Work Hours:

Mon- Friday- normal business hours, no shift work.

Qualifications:

• A minimum Cisco CCNA Route/Switch Certification or Higher
• Have and maintain a CompTIA Security+ Certification at start of work
• 4 + years enterprise network or network security experience
• Highly desirable experience with Tripkits, TACLAN, COMSEC, Audiovisual/Video-Teleconference (AV/VTC), SIPR/ NIPR/ SVTC
