Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to lead DoD network operations, drive system upgrades, and ensure robust cybersecurity across complex environments. You will coordinate with leadership, manage incidents, and supervise a team to meet project goals while maintaining high security and availability.

The role requires 5+ years in Cisco networking, DoD STIGs implementation, vulnerability management, and RMF/NIST experience, along with a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in design, development, maintenance, and troubleshooting Cisco based networking environments.
  • 5+ years of experience implementing DoD STIGs on Cisco networks.
  • Experience with vulnerability management, including scanning, patching, and remediation.
  • Experience with a wide variety of technologies and products, including VMWare, Windows, network switches and routers, firewalls, and Cybersecurity.
  • Experience with operating in DoD frameworks, including RMF and NIST.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations of a complex environment to maintain the network and mission systems.
  • Perform technical analysis of complex software, hardware, and transmission facility using various diagnostic tools in support of efficient network operations.
  • Maintain responsibility for infrastructure, systems, and applications including the design, implementation, sustainability, and deployment of system enhancements and upgrades.
  • Work closely with client leadership to report progress. Troubleshoot issues and plan and design for future system enhancements to the infrastructure.
  • Interface with engineering and development teams to determine software requirements and manage upgrade and release schedules.
  • Supervise network infrastructure, operation availability, and capabilities for incidents, problems, outages, and other issues impacting system performance or Cybersecurity events.
  • Manage the network operations team to meet project goals and adhere to approved standards.
  • Supervise the installation and configuration of automated tools to track network configuration, monitoring status, and performance.

The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
