TEKsystems is seeking a Network Engineer for a Dayton, OH onsite contract position supporting a major network modernization initiative. The role focuses on switch replacement across multiple locations and day-to-day network operations within a large enterprise.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in network administration/engineering, hands-on switch experience, and strong troubleshooting skills. CCNA or equivalent knowledge is a plus. Local travel is required; benefits and eligibility vary by role.

We are looking for a Network Engineer to support a large organization undergoing a major network modernization initiative. The initial focus will be a network switch replacement project across multiple locations, along with supporting day-to-day network operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid networking foundation who wants to gain hands‑on experience in a large, complex enterprise environment.

What Youll Do

• Support the installation, configuration, and replacement of network switches
• Assist with day‑to‑day network administration, troubleshooting, and support
• Help execute network modernization initiatives across multiple locations
• Perform switch configurations and assist with connectivity issues
• Coordinate with network engineers, project teams, and onsite resources

• Travel locally between locations as needed

What We are Looking For

Job Type & Location

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
