Job summary

Osage Casino Tulsa is seeking an IT network administrator to oversee the design, deployment, and operations of the casino's data center, network, and server services. You will ensure availability, integrity, and security of IT infrastructure while supporting telephony, monitoring, and related software.

The role emphasizes Cisco-based infrastructure, security, VOIP, VPNs, disaster recovery, and on-call support. A CCNA/CCNP background is preferred, and tribal preference applies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, IT or related field.
  • Three years LAN, WAN, and network experience.
  • Cisco CCNA and/or CCNP preferred.
  • Casino experience preferred.
  • Must pass background check with no prior convictions or felonies.
  • Must be able to obtain Osage Nation Gaming License.
  • Tribal preference applies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees administration and maintenance of Osage network infrastructure including LAN and WAN.
  • Plans, manages, and maintains LAN infrastructure across all sites including Cisco Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches.
  • Designs and maintains Cisco WAN routers utilizing EIGRP, DMVPN, and other protocols.
  • Maintains wireless LAN infrastructure across all sites including Cisco WLC and APs.
  • Plans, adds, deletes and does major modifications to network infrastructure.
  • Plans, manages, and maintains network security infrastructure including Cisco FirePower and ASA firewalls, Cisco ISE, Cisco Web Security Appliances, and network ACLs.
  • Plans, manages, and maintains network security including Cisco DUO 2FA system.
  • Maintains internet connections with multiple ISPs utilizing BGP.
  • Manages and develops upgrades to Osage infrastructure servers and appliances.
  • Plans, manages, and maintains VOIP phones and Cisco Call Manager.
  • Plans, manages, and maintains Cisco Unity voicemail systems and Emergency Responder.
  • Plans, manages, and maintains Cisco UCCX Call Center systems.
  • Plans, manages, and maintains remote access systems such as Cisco AnyConnect VPN and Cisco site to site VPNs.
  • Manages, configures, and maintains network services such as DNS and DHCP server.
  • Serves as a Team Lead for troubleshooting, systems backups, and disaster recovery.
  • Assists in the design, implementation, maintenance, and replacement of systems, programs, hardware and software.
  • Plans and supports network IP addressing, IP subnets, and computing infrastructure.
  • Performs troubleshooting analysis to servers, appliances, and associated systems.
  • Designs, develops, installs, configures, updates, and maintains communication systems, network and security software, as appropriate; provides on call support as required.
  • Monitors infrastructure with monitoring tools to detect issues and makes recommendations to improve uptime.

Overview

Under the supervision of IT Infrastructure Manager, responsible for theimplementation and operations of IT network technology infrastructures which includes data center, network and server services, telephony, service monitoring, servers, and related software. This position is operationally responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity, and security for IT systems and IT infrastructure.

MINIMUM QUALIFICAQTIONS:

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, IT, or related field
  • Three years LAN, WAN, and network experience.
  • Equivalent combination of education, experience, and training will be considered in lieu of educational requirement.
  • Cisco CCNA and or Cisco CCNP preferred.
  • Casino experience preferred.
  • Must be able to pass background check with no prior convictions or any felonies.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Osage Nation Gaming License.
  • Tribal preference and Native American Indian preference shall apply to all positions at Osage Casinos.

  • Plans, manages, and maintains network security including Cisco DUO 2FA system.

  • Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required
  • May be placed on-call and may be required to respond during non-scheduled hours.
  • Performs other duties as required.

EMPLOYEE’S CERTIFICATION:

  • Cisco CCNA, Cisco CCNP preferred.

  • Demonstrable experience with Cisco switches, routers, VOIP, and wireless systems.
  • Knowledge of communication /network systems infrastructure requirements and standards.
  • Knowledge of network security systems, network software, procedures, and techniques.
  • Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise.
  • Knowledge and understanding of a range of computer and networking software and hardware systems and related technologies.
  • Knowledge of OSI model, Ethernet, switching, IP routing protocols, wireless networking requirements, along with routers and switches.

  • Knowledge of theory, design, and implementation of computer systems, networks, communications links, firewalls, operating systems and back-up systems.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Work is typically performed within an office and Casino setting.
  • Exposure to second-hand smoke and a high noise level.
  • Evening and weekend shifts may be required. Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required.
