SHR Consulting Group is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, operate, and troubleshoot network infrastructure across enterprise applications in GCP environments. You will coordinate with cloud, security, DevSecOps, and application teams to ensure secure, reliable connectivity across development, testing, staging, and production environments.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise network environments.
• Experience with cloud networking, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, network segmentation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting highly available, secure enterprise applications and infrastructure.
• Experience operating within formal configuration and change-management processes.
• Relevant cloud or networking certifications preferred.

Position Summary

SHR Consulting Group is seeking aNetwork Engineer to support the design, implementation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure supporting enterprise applications and services. The position works within cloud-based environments, primarily Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and coordinates with cloud, security, DevSecOps, application development, and operations teams to maintain secure, reliable connectivity across development, testing, staging, and production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support configuration, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise and cloud network infrastructure.
• Support Google Cloud Platform (GCP)networking and connectivity for applications, services, and environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, DNS, firewall rules, load balancing, certificates, network segmentation, and related services.
• Coordinate network requirements and changes with infrastructure, security, cloud, application, and DevSecOps teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise network environments.
• Experience with cloud networking, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, network segmentation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting highly available, secure enterprise applications and infrastructure.
• Experience operating within formal configuration and change-management processes.
• Relevant cloud or networking certifications preferred.

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• One relevant networking or cloud certification (Required)
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Network Engineer; CCNA; CCNP Enterprise; CompTIA Network+; Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer (Preferred)

Clearance Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship.
• Public Trust Clearance

Work Environment

• Remote.
• Candidates residing in the DC Metro Area preferred.

Salary Range 120,000 – 140,000. The salary range represents a general guideline; SHR considers a number of factors when determining the base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position, and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
