Network Engineer

Contract type: Contract to Hire

Salary: 180k max

Location: Newington, VA

Clearance: TS/SCI

Interview Process: 2-3 interviews: An initial screening followed by one or more technical and leadership-focused interviews. Interviews are generally conducted via audio/video, with potential in-person discussions.

Our work depends on a Network Engineer joining our team to design, secure, and maintain resilient network architectures that enable uninterrupted communication, real-time data sharing, and mission-critical system availability for government customers in dynamic, high-stakes environments.

Responsibilities for the Network Engineer include:

• Expertise in routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Experience with LAN/WAN architecture, design, and deployment.
• Proficiency with network monitoring and performance tools (e.g., SolarWinds, NetFlow, Wireshark).
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, QoS, and load balancers.
• Strong background working with Cisco platforms including Catalyst, Nexus, and ACI.

Qualifications for the Network Engineer include:

• Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts.
• Ability to engage with senior leadership and influence technical and strategic decisions.

Compensation for the Network Engineer include:

• Compensation: $160,000 to $180,000
