Gotion Inc. is based in Silicon Valley, CA, currently building a Manufacturing facility in Manteno, IL and has R&D centers in Ohio, China, Japan and Europe. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Network Management - Design, configure, and manage the company’s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and wireless networks. Familiar with Cisco system.
   Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure efficient and uninterrupted operations.
   Implement network upgrades, patches, and enhancements to maintain optimal performance and security.
2. Security Management - Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols.
   Monitor and respond to security incidents and threats, including malware, intrusion attempts, and vulnerabilities.
   Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate risks.
3. Firewall and VPN Management - Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and other network security devices to protect the company’s network perimeter.
   Ensure secure remote access for employees and authorized users.
4. Data Protection - Implement and manage data encryption, backup, and recovery solutions.
   Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards.
5. Infrastructure Maintenance - Maintain and support network hardware, such as routers, switches, and access points.
   Manage network infrastructure documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
6. User Support - Provide technical support and training to employees regarding network, deskside and security issues.
   Assist with the setup and maintenance of user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
7. Collaboration and Communication - Work closely with other IT team members and departments to support overall IT initiatives.
   Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure awareness and understanding of network and security matters.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Professional certifications such as CCNA, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in network and security administration.
4. Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and firewall management.
5. Experience with security technologies, including intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), antivirus software, and data encryption.
6. Proficiency in network monitoring and analysis tools.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $70k –$130k, plus eligibility for bonus and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by factors such as the role, level, and geographic location. The range listed in the job posting represents the minimum and maximum target salaries for this position across all U.S. locations. Actual compensation within the range will be influenced by the specific work location, along with factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
