Job summary

Resolve Tech Solutions is seeking an experienced Enterprise Network Engineer for an on-site role in Irving, TX. You will design, analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer issues while providing Tier 3 support for our network infrastructure.

The position requires 7+ years managing large-scale enterprise networks (Cisco, F5, Juniper), plus hands-on experience in design, connectivity, migration, and support. Certifications are highly valued, with a university IT degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience managing enterprise networks (Cisco, F5, Juniper).
• 2+ years working in network design, planning, connectivity, migration, and support.
• Knowledge of common network protocols (TCP, UDP, STP, HSRP, BGP, OSPF).
• Certifications are highly recommended (CCNP, CCIE, JNCIS, JNCIP).

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer issues.
• Provide Tier 3 technical support for network infrastructure.
• Record detailed actions in ticketing tool.
• Collaborate with 3rd party vendors to keep network operational.
• Escalate issues to higher support levels when needed.
• Develop and maintain network support documentation.

Job description

• Design, Analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer issues
• Provide Tier 3 technical support for network infrastructure
• Resolve incidents directly with end users and record detailed actions in ticketing tool
• Collaborate with 3rd party vendors to ensure the network stays operational
• Escalate issues to next level of support if unable to resolve in a timely manner
• Ensure all aspects of the entire enterprise cloud networks are architecturally sound and highly available
• Research existing and emerging technologies that align with business requirements and provide effective solutions based upon extensive professional experience, industry best practices, knowledge of industry technologies through formal training and/or self-study
• Install and implement network hardware components and cables in data centers and corporate offices
• Perform approved network changes according to procedures with minimal business disruption
• Understand and perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs and patches
• Develop and maintain accurate network support documentation in a knowledge repository
• Perform network performance monitoring, trending and capacity planning for the LAN, WLAN, MAN and WAN
• This is a full-time, on-site position based in Irving, TX.
• Occasional after-hours support may be required.
