Job summary

L2T, LLC in Herndon, VA is seeking a highly skilled security-minded engineer for our networked systems team. The role requires an active Top Secret clearance, US citizenship, and hands-on experience designing, deploying, and hardening complex networks with Linux, virtualization, and automation.

• Applicants must hold and maintain an active security clearance; therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required, and TS/SCI candidates are preferred
• A wide networking technology background and experience with different vendors
• The ideal candidate will have experience or a sampling of the following topics
• Linux Operating Systems to include networking, desktops, firewalls, and servers
• Building, deploying, and documenting complex networks and systems
• Hypervisors, virtualization technology, and virtual desktop infrastructure
• Build and maintain secure and hardened configuration standards
• Experience with SaltStack automation framework
• Experience and knowledge of network protocols, routing protocols, policy-based routing, security, and maintaining networking infrastructure

Education

• A relevant college degree and/or practical experience, commensurate with the position you are seeking

Compensation

We believe in paying fairly and competitively based on the value each team member brings to the role. Individual compensation is determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, location, and market data. The anticipated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 annually.
