Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain multi-tenant and multi-data-center network infrastructures
- Implement and optimize underlay and overlay networking (MPLS, VxLAN, eVPN)
- Build and maintain Software Defined Networking solutions including SDWAN and NFV
- Automate networking/security provisioning using scripting languages and toolsets
- Manage Internet peering points, DDOS services, and public IP environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the OSI model with expert diagnostic precision
- Collaborate with architects and technical leads on solution planning and execution
- Document processes and network architectures with precision
- Ensure compliance with PCI/DSS and security best practices
Required Skills/Experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts
- Proficient in network diagnostics and troubleshooting across all OSI layers
- Deep understanding of dynamic routing protocols and complex routing manipulation
- Expertise in SDN, network virtualization, and data center fabric technologies
- Hands-on experience with coding/scripting (Python, Ansible, PowerShell, Jinja, YAML, JSON)
- Familiarity with Internet edge environments including DDoS, IP management, peering
- Experience automating network/security functions in large-scale environments
Nice to have
- Experience with Cisco (IOS, NXOS) and Arista (EOS) technologies
- Familiarity with Layer 1 & 2 protocols
- Experience with VMware networking (VMotion, HCX, VxRails)
- Use of automation/config templating tools (GitLab, Netbox, Vendor APIs)
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred
