Job summary

Ardalyst Holdings, LLC is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, deploy, monitor, and optimize complex enterprise networks across LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and data center environments. You will administer NETSCOUT nGeniusONE and Gigamon visibility fabrics to ensure high availability, security, and performance.

You will collaborate with cybersecurity and application teams, handle packet analysis, and contribute to capacity planning and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience with NetScout nGeniusONE, InfiniStreamNG, and packet analysis tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Gigamon Visibility Fabric, GigaVUE appliances, TAP deployment, and packet broker administration.
  • Experience with Cisco, Arista, Juniper, or other enterprise networking platforms.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, QoS, multicast, routing, and switching technologies.
  • Experience troubleshooting network and application performance issues using packet-level analysis.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and data center environments.
  • Administer and support NETSCOUT nGeniusONE, InfiniStream appliances, TAPs, packet flow monitoring, and performance analytics platforms.
  • Administer and support Gigamon visibility fabric solutions, TAPs, packet brokers, and traffic aggregation infrastructure.
  • Monitor network health and performance, proactively identifying bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions.
  • Analyze packet captures and network traffic to diagnose application, network, and infrastructure issues.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to provide packet visibility and network telemetry for threat detection and incident response.
  • Configure and maintain routing and switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, and MPLS.
  • Support network security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and network access controls.
  • Perform capacity planning, network optimization, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, operational procedures, and technical standards.
  • Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution activities.
  • Provide support for cloud connectivity solutions including Azure and AWS networking services.
  • Work closely with application, server, and security teams.
