Job summary

Accenture seeks a Consultant, Network Engineer to design, implement, and support secure, scalable networking solutions across enterprise environments. Qualifications

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience supporting large-scale network transformation and modernization programs.
  • Minimum 4+ years designing infrastructure to support AI, analytics, data-intensive, and high-performance application workloads.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience with software-defined networking, intent-based networking, network digital twins, and autonomous operations concepts.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience with hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, and edge networking architectures.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience working within DevOps, NetOps, SRE, and platform engineering operating models.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience integrating network infrastructure with cloud, security, observability, and enterprise management platforms.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience with data center fabrics, high-performance transport networks, and large-scale distributed systems
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Responsibilities

  • Assess and plan network design and implementation projects
  • Assess client network environments and identify gaps and performance improvement opportunities, based on leading industry practices
  • Develop implementation roadmaps and transition plans
  • Document findings and present to client managers and engineers
  • Develop network engineering solutions from concept through implementation
  • Create network detailed designs utilizing software defined networking, network segmentation, network access control, network security, and cloud networking components
  • Analyze and provide recommendations for emerging network technologies
  • Implement network infrastructures solutions (hands‑on engineering, configuration, testing, deployment, and initial support)
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients
  • Drive internal and client‑facing meetings and develop reports and presentations
  • Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Role Summary

We seek network professionals who have successfully led and delivered modern network transformations. A successful Consultant, Network Engineer combines strong technical expertise with consulting and problem-solving skills. They help design, implement, and support secure, scalable networking solutions across enterprise environments. They can translate business and technical requirements into practical network solutions, contribute to transformation initiatives, support automation efforts, and collaborate effectively across teams to deliver reliable and future-ready infrastructure. They are also expected to build strong client relationships, continuously develop their technical expertise, and contribute to successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Preferred Skills
  • Previous network consulting practice experience
  • Experience with non‑Cisco products and technologies such as Palo Alto, F5 and Juniper networks
  • Industry recognized vendor certifications are strongly preferred (e.g., CCNP, CCDP and others)

Compensation

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired as set forth below. We anticipate this job posting will be posted until 11/12/2026.
