Job summary

Avalore seeks an experienced Network Engineer to manage and maintain a complex, secure network infrastructure in a data center environment. The role requires Cisco IOS/NX-OS expertise, VLANs, routing, and security configuration.

Ideal candidates will contribute to Cisco deployments, network processing and operations, and work both independently and within an agile team supporting a hybrid cloud platform in Chantilly, VA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years configuring Cisco IOS or NX-OS in a data center environment.
• Experience with VLANs, routing and security settings.
• Experience with Cisco implementations, network processing and operations.
• Ability to work independently and in an agile team to support a hybrid cloud platform.

Job description

Seeking an experienced Network Engineer that will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's complex and secure network infrastructure.

Must have at least 5 years of experience with configuring Cisco IOS and/or Cisco NX-OS in a datacenter environment including experience configuring VLANs, Routing, and security settings.

Experience in top of rack configurations and storage area network configuration is preferred but not required.

Has experience with Cisco implementations who can optimize network processing and operations.

Ability to work independently as well as be a part of an agile team to transform the client's hybrid cloud platform.

Minimum of 5 years of experience with:

• Configuring Cisco IOS and/or Cisco NX-OS in a data center environment
• Experience with VLANs, routing and security settings
• Cisco implementations, network processing and operations
