Job summary

Jobtailor is hiring a senior network engineer to design, implement, and manage the network across 70+ clinic and corporate locations. You will lead deployments with Fortinet FortiGate and Zscaler, administer ZIA for secure access, and enforce zero trust across multi-site WANs.

You will monitor performance, optimize routes, and work with IT, security, and operations to ensure reliability. Strong debugging, documentation, and vendor-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in network engineering or administration roles.
• Hands-on with Fortinet FortiGate and SD-WAN architectures.
• Experience deploying Zscaler ZIA/ZPA across multi-site environments.
• Strong knowledge of BGP/OSPF, VLANs and QoS concepts.
• Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize complex networks.

• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure across 70+ clinic and corporate locations
• Lead networking strategy and deployment using Fortinet and Zscaler
• Administer and optimize Zscaler ZIA for secure internet access, zero trust network access, and SaaS application control
• Manage firewall policies, centralized configuration, and firmware lifecycle
• Implement and maintain internet redundancy and failover across clinic sites
• Monitor network health and performance and remediate root causes of slowness, outages, and disconnections
• Establish network standards, documentation, and configuration baselines
• Define and report network KPIs including MTTR, uptime, outage trends, and ISP performance
• Partner with security to enforce ZTNA policies, access controls, and network segmentation
• Support technology deployments for new clinic openings and infrastructure upgrades
• Manage ISP, Fortinet, Zscaler, and other network technology vendors
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide strategic recommendations
• Travel occasionally for critical issues or growth
• Participate in an on-call rotation

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering or network administration roles
• Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies, particularly Fortinet SD-WAN (FortiGate, FortiManager)
• Experience deploying and managing Zscaler ZIA and/or ZPA in an enterprise or multi-site environment
• Strong understanding of Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, access points, switches, and FortiManager
• Experience designing and managing multi-site WAN environments with ISP redundancy and failover
• Understanding of BGP, OSPF, VLANs, QoS, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP
• Experience with network monitoring and observability tools
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex network issues
• Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, security, and operations teams
• Documentation skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
