Job description

About Altais:

At Altais, we’re on a mission to improve the healthcare experience for everyone—starting with the people who deliver it. We believe physicians should spend more time with patients and less time on administrative tasks. Through smarter technology, purpose-built tools, and a team-based model of care, we help doctors do what they do best: care for people.

Altais includes a network of physician-led organizations across California, including Brown & Toland Physicians, Altais Medical Group Riverside, and Family Care Specialists. Together, we’re building a stronger, more connected healthcare system.

About the Role

Are you looking to join a fast-growing, dynamic team?

We’re a collaborative, purpose-driven group that’s passionate about transforming healthcare from the inside out. At Altais, we support one another, adapt quickly, and work with integrity as we build a better experience for physicians and their patients.

The Network Development Coordinator supports the Network Development Manager in executing initiatives related to provider recruitment, onboarding, and engagement across Altais’s Networks of Care (including Brown & Toland Physicians, Altais Care Network, and Family Care Specialist IPA).

This role is responsible for coordinating outreach efforts, supporting onboarding processes, maintaining provider data, and assisting with relationship management activities to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for prospective and newly contracted providers. The Coordinator plays a key role in operational execution, process support, and cross-functional coordination.

This position is a hybrid opportunity in the region you're assigned to.

Candidates considered for this role must live in Northern California.

You will focus on:

Provider Recruitment Support:

Assist in identifying prospective physicians and providers by conducting research, maintaining lead lists, and supporting outreach efforts. Coordinate initial communications and schedule meetings for the Network Development Manager.

Provider Onboarding Coordination:

Support the onboarding process for new providers by coordinating documentation, tracking onboarding steps, and partnering with internal teams (e.g., credentialing, contracting) to ensure timely completion of requirements.

Provider Engagement Support:

Assist in maintaining relationships with prospective and newly onboarded providers by coordinating follow-ups, responding to basic inquiries, and escalating issues to the Network Development Manager as needed.

Presentation & Event Coordination:

Support preparation of presentation materials, proposals, and outreach content. Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and presentations (in-person and virtual), including scheduling, materials, and follow-up communication.

Market & Data Support:

Conduct basic market research and maintain tracking tools related to provider outreach, recruitment pipelines, and network development activities. Compile data and assist in reporting for leadership review.

Service & Program Knowledge:

Maintain working knowledge of organizational services and provider offerings to support accurate communication and coordination efforts.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

Partner with internal teams (marketing, physician relations, operations) to support outreach campaigns, communications, and onboarding activities. Assist in coordinating provider-facing initiatives such as events, mailings, and meetings.

Travel Support:

Participate in occasional local travel within the Bay Area to support provider meetings, events, or onboarding activities, as needed.
