Oracle is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design and develop enterprise-grade network systems for data centers and cloud environments. You will automate tasks, validate configurations, and monitor health through dashboards.

You will lead junior engineers, implement incident response processes, and contribute to RCA documentation. Strong scripting and project leadership are essential for success.

Qualificações

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in network engineering or network operations.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, routing and switching, and routing protocols (MPLS, BGP, OSPF/IS-IS) with DNS/DHCP.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network incidents, assess impact, and coordinate with teams/vendors.
• Experience planning safe network changes with validation and rollback procedures.
• Experience using monitoring/telemetry data to investigate faults and reduce recurrences.
• Scripting experience to automate routine operational tasks.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects, develop runbooks, and mentor engineers.
• Strong communication skills for technical findings and incident status.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 support.

Independently develops and implements test cases and strategies, guiding junior engineers, conducting break-fix validation, and gathering and innovating compliance data collection. Implements and defines requirements for monitoring network health using dashboards and alerting systems, conducts incident response and root cause investigations, and develops tools for frontline support teams. Collaborates with project managers to achieve milestones, guides junior engineers, contributes to incident response and RCA documentation, and ensures networking standards adherence independently. Analyzes network performance metrics to identify efficiency issues and supports infrastructure growth with guidance.

Base Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in network engineering or network operations, including support for production network infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, routing and switching, routing protocols such as MPLS, BGP, OSPF, or IS-IS, and services such as DNS and DHCP.
• Demonstrated ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex network incidents, assess service impact, prioritize recovery actions, and coordinate with internal teams and vendors.
• Experience planning and safely executing network changes, including assessing risks and preparing validation and rollback procedures.
• Experience using network monitoring and telemetry data to investigate faults, contribute to root cause analysis, and identify improvements that reduce recurring incidents.
• Scripting experience to develop and maintain automation for routine operational tasks.
• Experience leading technical projects or operational improvements, developing runbooks, and mentoring or onboarding engineers.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical findings and incident status to varied audiences.
• Availability to participate in required on-call rotations or rotational shifts supporting a 24/7 environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large-scale networks in a cloud provider or internet service provider environment.
• Broad experience across multiple network platforms or technologies, including Cisco, Juniper, Arista, firewalls, or circuit management.
• Proficiency with Python and experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet, along with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience with network performance dashboards, or network modeling and management technologies such as YANG, OpenConfig, and NETCONF.
