This role requires a deep understanding of large-scale network design, automation, testing, and reliability practices. As a key technical authority, you will collaborate across multiple teams and vendors to ensure network solutions meet the highest standards of performance, scalability, and operational excellence. Your expertise will directly impact Oracle’s ability to deliver industry‑leading cloud services to demanding enterprise customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in network architecture, design, and development within large-scale data center or cloud environments.
• Proven expertise in network automation, scripting, and development of automation frameworks using languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
• Deep knowledge of network protocols, hardware, firmware, and software integration, with a focus on high availability and scalability.
• Experience leading complex projects involving cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders without direct authority.
• Strong understanding of monitoring, telemetry, and alerting systems, with a track record of implementing innovative solutions for network reliability.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze performance metrics and capacity planning data to inform strategic decisions.
• Effective communication and leadership skills to mentor teams and drive collaboration across diverse groups.
• Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are preferred.

Network Design, Development, and Validation

You will consult on and oversee the design of advanced network fabrics supporting large-scale cloud environments. Your role involves validating network configurations, ensuring scalability, and mitigating complex risks prior to deployment. Collaborating with vendors and internal teams, you will develop comprehensive validation processes and design playbooks for resolving critical network issues, ensuring robust and future‑proof solutions.

Automation and Scripting

Lead the development of automation frameworks to streamline testing and operational processes. You will pioneer automation of routine network tasks, create telemetry dashboards, and develop scripts that enhance organizational efficiency. Architecting scalable infrastructure pipelines and resource management strategies will be key responsibilities.

Testing and Quality Assurance

You will improve existing testing protocols and develop new strategies to ensure network integrity. Leading incident root cause analysis and validation processes, you will work closely with quality assurance teams and vendors to maintain high standards of network reliability and compliance.

Monitoring and Reliability

Develop and enhance monitoring dashboards, telemetry systems, and alerting mechanisms to track network health.
