AWS is looking for a Network Deploy Technician to join our growing team within infrastructure operations. You will work with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of our next-generation networks and assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our network.
The position’s responsibilities include scaling support of several data center locations and day-to-day assistance with capacity management. You will work closely with internal customers and external vendors to facilitate smooth project execution as directed by Network Leadership and Technical Project Managers.
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems and are looking for talented people who want to help.
Traveling within and outside of regional work area is required. You will be responsible for having a reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license to travel within the regional work area, as company transportation will not be provided.
Providing the first-level networking devices to serve our customer racks entails various tasks: track network rack intake and delivery; work with various onsite teams to request rack space, power, and cooling for network racks. Partner with network engineers to ensure all configurations are ready. Work on link and device troubleshooting within a Service-Level Agreement.
There are also console builds (and room builds) that are exciting. Work with teams whose goal is to provide more space and capacity for customer racks.
Work with ID-Scaling peers to build higher-level networking devices.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
