Job summary

Airbus is seeking an experienced network engineer for a field-ready role based in the Pacific Northwest. You will design and stabilize complex networks, including VPNs, firewalls, and high-latency links, while supporting operators in remote environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in network engineering, systems administration, or field communications with hands-on responsibility for network stability.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting VPNs, firewalls, and routing across Windows and Linux.
• Experience with wireless/RF networking and satellite communications (Starlink/VSAT).
• Experience designing or scaling network architectures, not just maintaining existing ones.
• Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell and/or Python).
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, NAT, DNS, DHCP.
• Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity practices (RMF, NIST SP 800-53, DISA STIGs).

Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on geographic differential. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
