Detailed Job Description

Netsync Network Solutions is looking for qualified individuals to fill the role of Networking Consultant, specializing in Cisco Network Infrastructure. As a Networking Consultant, your responsibilities will vary by client engagement but will focus primarily on Cisco solutions architecture, system design, and implementation.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical resource and project lead for complex networking, SDN, and SD-WAN environments across various customer verticals.
• Collaborate with clients and project teams to identify business and technical requirements for network services.
• Design complex networking solutions to address diverse business problems for enterprise customers.
• Install, configure, support, monitor, test, optimize, and troubleshoot deployment, integration, and implementation issues of hardware and software in complex network environments.
• Provide knowledge transfer and detailed design/operational documentation to clients.
• Maintain and update project documentation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
• Provide Tier 3 support.

Additional Duties

• Travel: 50%

Skills And Experience

Minimum of 4 years of experience in network environments, including network engineering (hardware and software), security, and LAN/WAN design and implementation.

• Experience in the healthcare vertical.
• Cisco Routers, Catalyst Switches, Catalyst Center, Layer 2 Switching, Layer 3 Routing Protocols, WLC and Access Points, Meraki Switching and Wireless.
• SD-WAN and SD-Access knowledge are a plus.
• Strong client management, problem solving, troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Previous VAR experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Active CCNP certification, CCIE preferred.
• Multi-vendor certification preferred.
• Reside in the greater New Orleans or Baton Rouge areas; this is not a remote position.
