ITC Federal, LLC seeks a Network COMSEC Administrator for the DOJ NSD project in Washington, DC. This full-time, onsite role requires a Top Secret clearance to implement complex networks and COMSEC controls across multiple platforms and locations.

The candidate will develop and enforce engineering processes, document service changes, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure secure and reliable NSD operations. Prior COMSEC and network equipment experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience focused on COMSEC engineering (TACLANE, GEM X, GEM One).
• Expertise with COMSEC and network equipment, including inventory management.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred; may be substituted with 2+ years related experience.
• Infrastructure Certifications, plus.

Responsibilities

• Implements highly complex networks linking multiple platforms and topologies across dispersed areas.
• Implements COMSEC engineering processes for integration of COMSEC requirements.
• Incorporates new connections and services; prepares test plans and oversees testing.
• Prepares documents to add/change/delete NSD network services.

OVERVIEW:

The mission of the National Security Division (NSD) is to carry out the Department's highest priority: to combat terrorism and other threats to national security. The Infrastructure Support and Software Development Services division provides all IT services necessary to support the NSD's Infrastructure & Operations as well as Software Development, Engineering, and Service Desk.

Responsibilities

• Implements highly complex networks that typically link numerous computing platforms, operating systems, and network topologies across widely dispersed geographical areas.
• Responsible for the implementation of engineering processes that provide for timely and appropriate integration of all applicable COMSEC requirements.
• The Engineer will incorporate into the network and COMSEC network all new connections and services as they are required by the customer. When required, this function includes preparing test plans and execution or oversight of test execution.
• The Engineer will also prepare all documents required to add, change, or delete services to the NSD network.

  Qualifications

  REQUIRED:

  • 10+ years of IT experience with a heavy focus on COMSEC engineering (TACLANE, GEM X, GEM One)
  • Expertise with COMSEC and network equipment, including COMSEC inventory management
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; may be substituted with an additional 2+ years of related experience; Advanced degree preferred
  • Infrastructure Certifications, plus

  SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Active Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a DOJ SCI

  WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Standard office environment; ability to lift 25 pounds.
