Job summary

Core4ce is seeking an experienced Mid-Level Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust automation solutions for infrastructure and networking. You will work with Ansible, Terraform, and Python, integrating REST APIs and collaborating with development teams to scale operations.

The role emphasizes automation, self-healing infrastructure, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines, with opportunities for mentorship and growth.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of IT automation, DevOps, or network engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance with Tier 5 investigation.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and Terraform for production infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, BGP/OSPF and automating network devices.
• Proficient in Python with Paramiko or Netmiko and REST API consumption.
• Linux/Unix system administration background.
• Git proficiency and collaborative workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows and IaC to provision infrastructure and networking devices.
• Write scalable Python scripts using Paramiko/Netmiko and integrate with REST APIs.
• Automate provisioning, state validation, and configuration management for networks.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to architect automated, self-healing infrastructure.
• Build and maintain internal tooling and self-service automation portals.
• Troubleshoot complex automation failures and improve CI/CD reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote code quality and best practices.
