Job summary

National Security Agency seeks results-driven network professionals to design, deploy, and monitor state-of-the-art WAN/LAN/DCN networks in support of a technical mission office.

Candidates should have education and/or experience in multi-vendor routing, network security, SDN concepts, and data center networking, with familiarity of tools like Wireshark, NetFlow, Splunk. Eligibility for security clearances is required.

Qualifications

• Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Military training in networking, cyber topics, or information assurance may count toward experience.
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/Security+ can count toward experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and sustain state-of-the-art network solutions across WAN, CAN, LAN, DCN and satellite links.
• Monitor and troubleshoot multi-vendor networks (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc.) and security devices.
• Collaborate across organizations to implement SDN for data center and WAN applications.
• Manage, analyze, and improve network performance using specialized tools and standards.
