Vets Hired is seeking a Network Architect to lead the design and modernization of enterprise network infrastructure supporting mission-critical environments. The role provides technical leadership for architecture, routing, switching, security, wireless, fiber, and future technology integration.

You will design and implement scalable, secure networks, establish standards, and guide capacity planning and performance modeling to ensure reliable operation in high-demand settings.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise network architectures for large organizations.
• Proven ability to translate security requirements into network strategies.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust concepts and modern authentication methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of modernized enterprise network architectures.
• Establish network architecture standards and technical direction.

• Develop scalable, resilient network topologies.
• Set standards for routing, switching, VLANs, QoS, and traffic engineering.
• Align architectures with Zero Trust and emerging technologies.
• Perform network capacity planning and performance modeling.
