Job summary

The Intersect Group is seeking a Network Architect in Brentwood, TN for a contract-to-hire role. The position requires an Active CCIE or exam scheduled, 5+ years of architect experience, and hands-on Cisco/SD-WAN expertise.

Qualifications

• Active CCIE or exam scheduled.
• 5+ years of true architect experience.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on networking experience with Cisco projects.
• Minimum of 3 years of SD-WAN experience.
• Associates degree in Information Systems / CS or equivalent.
• Experience troubleshooting LAN/WAN infrastructures and IP routing.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot LAN and WAN service issues on Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet platforms.
• Configure switching platforms including Cisco 3750x, 9200/9300, Nexus; Fortiswitch.
• Configure routing platforms, Cisco ASR/ISR, Fortigate, Meraki.
• Install network hardware and activate leased WAN circuits.
• Create and update network documentation; review change scripts.
• Collaborate with security teams to mitigate active threats.
