Job summary

Infojini Inc. seeks a Network Architect with an active CCIE to design, implement, and govern enterprise networking across campus, WAN, data center, cloud, and security domains.

The role is a 12+ month contract based in Austin, with 4–5 days onsite and a mix of virtual/in-person interviews. You will lead modernization efforts, establish standards, mentor teams, and collaborate with cybersecurity to implement Zero Trust and secure networking solutions for statewide operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise network architecture and design experience.
• 10+ years of Cisco routing and switching technologies experience.
• 8+ years in BGP, OSPF, MPLS, WAN, and data center networking.
• 7+ years in network security architecture and firewall design.
• 5+ years in SD-WAN architecture and deployment.
• 5+ years with Cisco ISE or Network Access Control solutions.
• 5+ years in cloud networking and hybrid connectivity.
• 5+ years in technical leadership and architecture governance.
• 3+ years in network automation and infrastructure-as-code concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise network architecture standards, reference designs, and strategic roadmaps.
• Lead architecture and design for campus, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, cloud, security, and data center networking solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to support long-term infrastructure strategy.
• Develop network modernization strategies and lifecycle management plans.
• Provide architecture review and approvals for major network projects and infrastructure initiatives.
• Design highly available, resilient, and secure network solutions for statewide operations.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement Zero Trust and segmentation strategies.
• Develop hybrid cloud networking architectures supporting Azure and future cloud initiatives.
• Lead resiliency, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning efforts.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation, standards, diagrams, and implementation guidance.
• Provide technical leadership to network engineering, operations, and project teams.
• Review proposals, vendor solutions, and project deliverables.
• Support monitoring, observability, and automation initiatives through architecture and standards development.
• Partner with executives and stakeholders to align technical solutions with agency objectives.

Work to be Accomplished
