Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Relevant network security certifications (e.g. CCIE, JNCIE, ACSDX, CCNP) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement high availability and resilient network architectures.
  • Create comprehensive network blueprints, including logical and physical diagrams, aligning to business context and goals.
  • Develop and enforce standards and policies for network design and deployment.
  • Lead large-scale network projects from concept through to implementation, with timely delivery and cost effectiveness.
  • Work with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the network security team and design next generation Network Security architecture considering Zero Trust Network Architecture principles, SASE solutions and Next gen. Firewall capabilities.
  • Align Network Architecture and technical strategy with business goals, context and use cases.
  • Provide comparative analysis of Network Architecture solutions including trade-offs, cost optimizations.
  • Continuously analyze network performance to identify areas of improvement.
  • Influence the direction of network strategy across on-prem and cloud deployments.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues, including analyzing traffic patterns, identifying bottlenecks, and propose solutions.
  • Act as a key advisor to management on network technologies and future trends.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation on network designs, configurations, and change management.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Network Architect to design, implement, and optimize our network infrastructure. This role involves working closely with cross functional teams to create scalable, secure, and high-performance network solutions that meet both current and future business requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of network protocols, architectures, and security, along with hands‑on experience in leading complex network projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement high availability and resilient network architectures

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Relevant network security certifications (e.g. CCIE, JNCIE, ACSDX, CCNP etc.) are highly desirable
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in Network architecture and engineering in a large-scale environment
  • Proven experience with SD-WAN platforms and technologies
  • Solid understanding of the Zero Trust Network Architecture principles
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of public key infrastructure, TLS, DTLS
  • In-depth knowledge of how Deep packet inspection, Intrusion Prevention/Detection, Advanced Malware detection technologies work
  • Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and hybrid networks
  • Be able to articulate, compare the vendor offerings/solutions
  • Experience with Software defined Networking (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV)
  • Experience with Network automation tools, Network Observability tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

The hiring range for this position in the primary work location of Atlanta, Georgia is: $151,600-$208,450. The hiring range for other Bose work locations may vary.
