Cintel, Inc. is seeking a Network Applications Team (NAT) Software Product Owner for the Army PEO MS IFMC program.

This full-time position is located at Redstone Arsenal and requires collaboration with Agile developers to drive network application priorities and acceptance criteria. The NAT PO will work with cyber, program management, and leadership to set sprint priorities, review designs, and provide status reports.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of networking concepts, IPv4/IPv6 addressing, and device configuration.
  • Experience with network status monitoring and related tooling.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance and ability to work with government/DoD projects.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and validate network application development and updates/patches for NAT.
  • Review systems engineering concepts/designs and provide guidance to the development team.
  • Develop acceptance criteria for network tasks and stories and verify them.
  • Collaborate with Cyber team to maintain a hardened cyber posture for the system network.
  • Set priorities for capabilities and defects with program management for each increment and sprint.
  • Deliver technical briefings and status reports to leadership.

Job description

Position Title: Network Applications Team (NAT) Software Product Owner

Location: Redstone Arsenal

Position Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

The Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Network Applications Team (NAT) Software Product Owner (PO) will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO).

The PO will be responsible for the prioritization and validation of the network application development and updates/patches for the Network Application Team (NAT).

The position will include reviewing/understanding Systems Engineering concepts/designs/algorithms and providing guidance to the development team.

The PO will support the team in the development of acceptance criteria for network tasks and stories and be responsible for their verification.

The product owner will also be responsible for working with the Cyber team to ensure a hardened cyber posture for the system network.

The product owner will work with Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects for the team for each product increment and sprint.

The position will include technical briefings, demonstrations and advisement to leadership.

The product owner will report on status; recommended courses of actions, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission.

Required Qualifications

The candidate must have a good understanding of networking to include IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, networking device configuration, and network status monitoring. The desired candidate would also have a broad understanding of SNMPv3. The candidate must be able to work directly with the Agile software developers to meet deadlines and program objectives.

The Candidate Must
  • Be fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset
  • Be a US citizen
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering,

the sciences or mathematics,

  • Have a minimum of 10 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
Desired Qualifications

An additional plus is knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS. The ability to \"move out\" and champion your ideas, architectures, designs, enthusiasm; independent critical thinking; and a team attitude are very important. Experience in JIRA/Confluence is a plus. Security + and Linux experience is also desired. Agilist certification
