Scale Technology in Little Rock, Arkansas is seeking a Network and Cloud Administrator (Team Lead) to lead the technical team and own complex infrastructure projects. You will supervise escalations while contributing hands-on engineering across cloud, network, and security domains.

The role emphasizes leadership, MSP exposure, and enterprise technology stacks, including Azure, Entra ID, and M365, with a focus on security, backups, and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT infrastructure or cloud
• MSP experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical team, coach and mentor L1/L2 technicians
• Manage escalations and serve as final escalation point
• Design and manage LAN/WAN environments, VLANs, routing, wireless networks
• Implement VPN and SD-WAN solutions
• Administer Azure environments, Entra ID and M365, maintain tenant health
• Oversee backups and disaster recovery
• Lead security architecture decisions, manage EDR
• Implement zero-trust and email security
• Conduct vulnerability and compliance reviews

About the Role

This is the most senior technical role at Scale, combining leadership with hands‑on infrastructure engineering. You will lead our technical team, manage escalations, and serve as the final escalation point while remaining actively engaged in complex engineering projects.

Core Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Development

• Coach and mentor L1/L2 technicians
• Manage escalations and enforce quality standards
• Lead team meetings and performance reviews
• Support hiring and onboarding efforts

Network Engineering and Infrastructure

• Design and manage LAN/WAN environments
• Manage VLANs, routing, and wireless networks
• Implement VPN and SD-WAN solutions

Cloud Administration (Azure and M365)

• Manage Azure environments and resources
• Administer Entra ID and identity systems
• Maintain M365 tenant health
• Oversee backups and disaster recovery

Cybersecurity Operations

• Lead security architecture decisions
• Manage EDR platforms
• Implement zero-trust and email security
