Job summary

Textron seeks a Network Analyst I to support and improve our global network infrastructure. You will work with experienced IT professionals to maintain reliable, secure services connecting employees and operations worldwide.

You will gain hands-on experience in networking, wireless, voice systems, security technologies, and cloud environments while building your technical skills and career in a collaborative Textron team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT/CS/CE or related field.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and wireless networking.
• Basic knowledge of network security concepts, including firewalls and access controls.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise network technologies including LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, firewalls, and voice services.
• Assist with network upgrades, deployments, and modernization projects.
• Help identify opportunities to automate tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor network performance and help resolve connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot networking services such as routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, wireless, and security‑related issues.
• Support enterprise voice platforms, including Microsoft Teams Voice and telephony services.
• Work with security teams to maintain secure network access and firewall policies.
• Partner with managed service providers and internal IT teams to deliver reliable network services.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation to support critical business systems.

Job Summary

What You'll Do

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and wireless networking.
• Basic knowledge of network security concepts, including firewalls and access controls.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Desire to learn and grow in networking, security, automation, and cloud technologies.
• This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNA certification or progress toward certification.
• Internship or hands‑on experience in networking, telecommunications, cybersecurity, or infrastructure support.
• Experience with Cisco technologies, firewalls, ServiceNow, or enterprise networking tools.
• Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or cloud networking concepts.
• Basic scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
