Job summary

The Hoosier Lottery is seeking a Network Administrator to support the design, operation, security, and daily management of its network, servers, and related devices in Indiana. You will work with the IS Officer and others to ensure high availability and security while assisting with installations and upgrades.

The role starts at $50,820.00 and offers a robust compensation package, with opportunities for growth and development within state agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology or equivalent experience.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification preferred.
• Experience in network and system administration and security concepts.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and translate security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist design, planning, operation, security and day-to-day management of the network and servers.
• Maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS; monitor and upgrade components.
• Support security cameras and building security systems and assist with compliance activities.
• Provide end-user support for hardware/OS/software and document network configurations.
