Job summary

Kennewick School District seeks a Network Administrator to support its district network infrastructure across multiple facilities. You will manage wired and wireless networks, switch configurations, routing, firewalls and content filtering to ensure secure, reliable connectivity for learning environments.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and proven experience with enterprise networks, VLANs, and server administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in network engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field; experience may substitute.
• Experience supporting enterprise wired/wireless networks incl. switching, routing, firewalls, content filtering.
• Proficient in network troubleshooting, VLAN configuration, wireless AP management, performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Maintain district wired and wireless network infrastructure (switching, APs, routing, firewalls, content filtering).
• Assist with network configurations and infrastructure projects.
• Monitor network/server performance for reliability, security, and high availability; respond to outages.
