Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Network Administrator for a 3rd shift (10PM–6AM) in Arlington, VA. The role is 100% on-site within CESO, focusing on monitoring, maintenance, and secure network operations.

Qualified candidates hold an active TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8570 IAT II+ certification, a CS/IT BS and 4+ years of experience, and are able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. AWS and Palo Alto experience are preferred.

• Experience troubleshooting S2S/IPsec tunnels.

Description

We are currently seeking a Network Administrator 3rd shift (10PM to 6AM) to join the Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) effort. This program is establishing a modern secure web service (SWS) operation as part of a state-of-the-art, highly automated platform capable of supporting a rapidly expanding customer population.

This position is based in Arlington, VA and is 100% on-site.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Network monitoring of connections and performance to ensure network availability for user access and services.
• Proactively identify risks and issues in the network and complete actions to mitigate them.
• Able to plan, coordinate and implement network maintenance, installation, and security to protect and improve network infrastructure.
• Receive and review user requests to establish or resolve issues with user access to services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues and escalate complex problems to senior engineers or vendors
• Configure, install, and maintain network devices and software

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance
• Currently possess DoD 8570 certification at least IAT level II, e.g Security+ce.
• BS in computer science or IT and 4+ years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Comfortable working 24O7 shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience monitoring network performance, security, and availability
• Experience in configuring switches and routers.
• Experience working with Dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
• Ability to change and configure 802.1x
• Prior experience troubleshooting S2S/IPSEC tunnels connection.
• Experience conducting VLAN configurations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with DISA and DISA's support to mission partners
• TS/SCI w/CI Poly Preferred
• AWS Cloud service experience
• Experience with Palo Alto devices

Pay Range:Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00
