Job summary

Saalex Corporation seeks an experienced Network Administrator IV to lead and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across global environments, including LVC domains and secure enclaves. You will ensure network availability, performance, and DoD compliance in support of Navy and DoD missions.

Requirements include 8–12 years of related experience, a Bachelor's in IT/Networking, CCNA/CCNP/Security+ depending on level, and the ability to obtain Secret/Top Secret/SC I clearance.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in network administration or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, or related field (or equivalent).
• Experience with enterprise network technologies (routing, switching, firewalls).
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs.
• Certs (CCNA, CCNP, Security+ depending on level).
• Ability to obtain Secret, Top Secret, or SCI clearance.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level leadership for enterprise network architecture, design, and operations.
• Oversee large-scale network environments including LAN/WAN, boundary systems, and secure enclaves.
• Lead implementation of advanced network security controls in alignment with RMF, STIGs, and DoD directives.
• Direct troubleshooting and resolution of complex network issues across distributed environments.
• Drive network optimization, scalability, and modernization initiatives.
• Mentor senior staff and advise leadership on network strategy and engineering decisions.

The Network Administrator IV supports the Navy by administering, securing, andmaintainingenterprise network infrastructure across global Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) environments. This role ensures network availability, performance, and compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Security Clearance:

Must be eligible to obtain a Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance. Active clearances preferred. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
