Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation is seeking a Network Administrator to provide WAN infrastructure support for the Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) III Support program at Maxwell AFB/Gunter Annex. This is a full-time position.

The role requires 5+ years in network administration, Security+ and CCNA certifications, and strong experience with routers, switches, load balancers and IDS. CCNP is desirable; candidates must be a US citizen with a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in network administration and support.
• Must be Security+ and CCNA certified.
• CCNP certification desired.
• Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers, serial consoles, load balancers, and switches.
• Able to assess infrastructure, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions.
• Knowledge of server-side tools and technologies.
• Experience with network monitoring and management using an automated solution.
• Extensive experience with security as it pertains to network architecture, desktops, laptops, servers, firewalls, IDS.
• Must be a US Citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.

Solid customer service and communication skills are critical as well as the ability and willingness to communicate effectively and appropriately in an empathetic and understanding manner. Must be a US Citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
