The City of Henderson Kentucky is seeking a Network Administrator to design, implement, and manage the City’s local and wide area networks, including email, internet access, antivirus, and security systems. You will maintain network servers, VoIP, IP cameras, and ensure reliable connectivity across City departments.
The role requires experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Hypervisor management, and general network security.
The purpose of this classification is to design, implement and administer the City’s local and wide area networks and maintain related network components, operations, and services, including e-mail, internet connectivity, anti-virus defense, and network security.The following duties are normal for this position.These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Must undergo and successfully complete drug test and alcohol screening prior to employment and undergo and successfully complete future drug test and/or alcohol screening pursuant to the City’s Drug and Alcohol policy.
Associate degree with course work emphasis in computer science; employment history that demonstrates a progressive advancement in designing and implementing network infrastructure; and employment history that demonstrates administration of network servers and network applications in an environment with 50 o rmore users; supplemented by the following experience:
