Job summary

Westmoreland Mechanical Testing & Research, Inc. is seeking a Network Services professional to manage all company networks and ensure secure information. You will design and implement preventative solutions, working in a fast-paced environment in the Latrobe/Youngstown, PA area.

The role requires 3–5 years of network security experience, a BS in CS/CE or related field, and proficiency with LAN/WAN, VMware, and Microsoft 365. Collaborative, detail-oriented, and adaptable candidates will thrive.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is strictly required for national defense and aerospace compliance.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields required.
• 3-5 years of network security experience preferred.
• Experience with LAN and WAN preferred.
• Experience with VM Ware and Microsoft 365 preferred.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers.
• Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
• Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation or design and plan network communication systems.
• Understanding of diverse computer systems and networks including virtual servers, Microsoft operating systems, and terminal server environment.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
