Qualifications

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Network Administrator to administer, maintain, monitor, and secure enterprise network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate brings strong hands‑on experience with Cisco Meraki, Cisco Firepower, enterprise networking, cloud networking, VPN technologies, and network security.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including Cisco Meraki switches/APs, routers, VPNs, and Cisco Firepower next-generation firewalls.
• Configure, manage, and tune Firepower NGFW policies via FMC, including access control rules, NAT, intrusion policies, and threat prevention features.
• Manage and monitor the Meraki dashboard for wired, wireless, and SD‑WAN deployments.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security; troubleshoot and resolve connectivity and latency issues.
• Manage VLANs, routing, and network segmentation across on‑premises and cloud environments.
• Configure and maintain cloud networking, including Azure or AWS VPCs/VNets, transit gateways, security groups, and site‑to‑cloud VPNs.
• Implement and maintain site‑to‑site and remote‑access VPNs and secure remote connectivity.
• Analyze firewall logs, traffic patterns, and security events to identify and respond to threats.
• Support network access control, IDS/IPS, and content filtering.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and systems teams on infrastructure improvements and incident response.
• Document network configurations, firewall rule sets, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience administering enterprise networks and network security.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco Meraki, including dashboard administration, switching, wireless, and/or SD‑WAN.
• Hands‑on experience configuring and managing Cisco Firepower next‑generation firewalls via Firepower Management Center (FMC).
• Experience with cloud networking in Azure, AWS, or a comparable platform.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, and TCP/IP fundamentals.
• Experience with VPN technologies, including IPSec, SSL VPN, and secure remote access.
• Understanding of network security best practices, segmentation, and threat prevention.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Must currently reside in Latin America.
• Must submit an updated CV in English.

Nice to Have

• Industry certifications such as CCNA/CCNP Security, Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist (ECMS), or cloud certifications for Azure/AWS.
• Scripting or automation experience with PowerShell, Python, or Ansible for network configuration and reporting.
• Familiarity with the Meraki and Firepower APIs for automation and reporting.
