Job summary

MANTECH in Doral, FL seeks a Network Administrator who is career- and customer-oriented to join our team. This role requires a TS/SCI clearance and the ability to work Panama Schedule with days/nights, weekends, and holidays as rotating shifts.

You will manage enterprise routers, switches, firewalls, and Cisco ISE-based access control, enforce security policies, perform patching, document networks, and collaborate with cybersecurity and site leadership to maintain uptime and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in network administration.
• OR a master’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience
• OR an associate’s degree and 7+ years of relevant experience
• OR a high school diploma and 9+ years of relevant experience
• Proven experience configuring Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) in an enterprise environment with 802.1X, RADIUS/TACACS+, and NAC
• Hands-on experience with network device configuration, patch management, and baseline configuration controls; ability to document networks and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex network connectivity issues and authentication failures.

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Administrator to join our team in Doral, FL.

This role follows a Panama Schedule. A Panama Schedule is three, 12-hour shifts and then three days off, repeating. This position rotates between night shifts and day shifts every 90 days. Individuals must be willing to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Managing and administering enterprise routers, switches, firewalls, and network infrastructure components across mission networks.
• Developing, implementing, and enforcing network security policies, profiling rules, and guest access workflows within Cisco ISE.
• Troubleshooting complex network connectivity issues, authentication failures, and access control policy enforcement points.
• Conducting routine system maintenance, vulnerability patching, firmware updates, and baseline configuration management for network devices.
• Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, cybersecurity staff, and site leadership to maintain optimal network uptime and security compliance.
• Maintaining accurate technical documentation, network diagrams, baseline configurations, and operational inventories.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in network administration.
• OR a master’s degree and 3+ or more years of relevant experience
• OR an associate’s degree and 7+ or more years of relevant experience
• OR a high school diploma and 9+ or more years of relevant experience
• Proven experience configuring, administering, and troubleshooting Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) in an enterprise environment. Strong background in enterprise routing, switching, 802.1X authentication, RADIUS/TACACS+ protocols, and network access control (NAC).
• Hands-on experience with network device configuration, patch management, and baseline configuration controls. Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex information technology documentation and network diagrams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant professional certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP Security/Enterprise), or Cisco ISE Specialist certification.
• Prior experience supporting U.S. Military Command operations or Department of Defense enterprise network environments.
• Familiarity with DoD STIG compliance, network vulnerability scanning, and secure baseline auditing procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multi-disciplinary engineering teams in dynamic operational settings.

Clearance Requirements

• Must hold a current/active top secret security clearance.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
