Harvey Nash in Matawan, NJ is seeking a network technician to handle day-to-day LAN/WAN connectivity, Cisco routing/switching, VPN/remote access, and basic firewall tasks across multiple sites. You will coordinate with ISPs and MSPs for service continuity and install network gear at new locations.

Handle day-to-day LAN/WAN connectivity issues across the corporate office and multiple store locations.
Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches, including basic configuration, VLANs, routing and troubleshooting.
Support wireless networks, VPN/remote access and general connectivity issues. Meraki experience is a plus, not mandatory.
Basic hands-on experience with firewalls, network security, ACLs, NAT or VPNs. You don't need to be a security specialist.
Experience supporting multiple offices, branches, stores, clients or remote locations is highly valuable.
Help with setting up network equipment at new or existing locations — routers, switches, wireless, cabling and connectivity. Retail experience is a plus, not required.
Work with ISPs/vendors and troubleshoot circuits and connectivity. Experience with LTE/Cradlepoint or network failover is a plus, but candidates with strong networking fundamentals can learn this.
Communicate with ISPs, MSPs and hardware/network vendors to resolve issues and maintain equipment.
Maintain basic network diagrams, configurations, IP information and troubleshooting documentation, while helping keep the environment reliable and secure.
Someone comfortable working independently, troubleshooting issues, communicating with store/office users, and occasionally helping with after-hours network issues or equipment preparation.
A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum annual salary for this position is $62,000 with full benefits.
