Job Summary

Network Administrator to support mission‑critical operations at Creech AFB Nevada—ships to the technological heart of the U.S. Air Force’s remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) operations. The role requires securing, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced networking systems for 24/7 mission support.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installations, upgrades, and mission‑critical support for Air Force RPA Operations Centers.
• Ensure continuous connectivity and video dissemination across multiple secure networks.
• Configure LANs/WANs and firewalls, and develop implementation plans that deliver real results.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, documenting and maintaining key systems.
• Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and complex technical puzzles with independence and precision.

Basic Qualifications

• Security+ certification (per DoD 8570.01).
• An active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of hands‑on experience (or equivalent experience and certifications).
• Familiarity with Cisco IOS, IP routing, long‑haul transport, and NSA Type 1 crypto devices.
• Solid grasp of C4ISR operations and tactical networking.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills with the drive to lead and learn.

Preferred Qualifications

• Military C5ISR experience.
• Hands‑on MQ‑9 operations center networking knowledge.
• CCNA certification and/or Cisco coursework.
• IP Multicast, fiber/copper cabling standards, and TACLANE experience.
• Fluency with Juniper and Linux platforms.

Note: This role involves shift work to support 24/7 operations.

Pay Range

$59,150.00 – $106,925.00
