Role: Network Administrator
Location: Beverly Hills CA (Onsite)

- Able to work fully on site in Beverly Hills, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Confirm commute tolerance before submitting.
- Valid California Driver License and insurability during employment.
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check and required clearances. [CONFIRM: fingerprint or Livescan and TB clearance requirements, plus expected turnaround time.]
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in network administration, systems administration, or infrastructure support. Five or more years is expected at the top of the range.
- Hands on enterprise switching, routing, wireless, and firewall administration. This is not a help desk or desktop support background.
- Working experience on Cisco or Aruba (HPE) network infrastructure, and on a next generation firewall platform. Palo Alto Networks experience is strongly preferred.
- Server, storage, and virtualization administration experience.
- Demonstrated ownership of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery systems.
- Identity and access management, directory services, and authentication platform administration.
- Experience directing field technicians, installers, or contracted crews performing on site work, including setting scope, verifying quality, and holding the standard.
- for portions of the education requirement.
Strongly Preferred
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, Azure, AWS, VMware, or equivalent.
- Working understanding of fiber optic plant, including dark fiber, leased fiber, and multi-site campus fiber topologies. Deep experience with any one specific municipal or carrier fiber build is not required.
- Multi site or campus environment experience supporting inter building connectivity and distributed IDF or MDF closets.
- Public sector, education, healthcare, or other regulated environment experience.
- Experience owning a network refresh, migration, or modernization project end to end rather than executing someone else’s plan.
- Network access control experience, particularly Aruba Clear Pass or an equivalent NAC platform with 802.1X and MAC authentication.
- VoIP and unified communications administration, and experience with a platform migration.
- Data center relocation or build out experience.
- Comfort as the senior technical person in the room, mentoring junior support staff and translating for non-technical leadership.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Network and Infrastructure Operations
- Administer, maintain, monitor, and support network infrastructure including switching, routing, wireless, and firewall systems.
- Manage server, storage, virtualization, cloud, and enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Monitor technology systems to ensure reliability, performance, capacity, and availability.
- Administer telecommunications, VoIP, unified communications, and related technologies.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and escalation support for complex technology issues.
- Support enterprise applications and system integrations from an infrastructure perspective.
Security and Access Management
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls, security standards, and infrastructure protection measures.
- Support cybersecurity monitoring, vulnerability management, remediation efforts, and incident response activities.
- Administer identity and access management systems, directory services, authentication platforms, and account security controls.
- Ensure compliance with technology standards, security requirements, policies, and applicable regulations.
Continuity and Recovery
- Manage backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity technology systems.
Projects and Modernization
- Plan, coordinate, and implement infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and modernization projects.
- Evaluate and recommend hardware, software, cloud services, and infrastructure solutions.
- Assist with technology procurement, budgeting, planning, and project implementation activities.
- Research current and emerging technologies and make recommendations for operational improvements.
