As a Network Administrator (Shift) to support 24/7/365 operations in Wiesbaden, Germany supporting U.S. Army Europe as a member of our EMITS Program Team.
This position is part of a shift work schedule which includes coverage on nights, weekends, and holidays.
The Network Administrator is responsible for providing ongoing support for the functionality and efficiency of computer networks.
Monitors and manages data traffic/network performance and controls network resource performance to ensure high-quality transmission.
Troubleshoots and resolves problems to ensure quality transmission service on the network.
Performs Active Directory administration to build and maintain user accounts, process account request paperwork, and manage user access.
Develops and enhances processes and technical documentation, creates back-up procedures, test plans, and reports.

Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
Experience: 2+ years of recent, hands‑on networking experience
Technical skills: Skills:Hands‑on networking experience in one or more (Cisco, Junos, NSX‑T); Experience with Cisco Unified Communications is a plus
Security clearance level: Secret Security Clearance
US citizenship required
Must pass German TESA
Role requirements: Must be IAT Level II Compliant (i.e. Security+ CE or equivalent certification); At least a Cisco Certified Support Technician CCST certification
A bachelors degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience, OR;
An associates degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR;
A major certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR;
11 years of recent specialized experience.
