Job Description:
What It Means to Be a Consultant at Crowe

Consulting is a dynamic business focused on solving problems for our clients and serving our core markets through innovative solutions. As technology and AI continue to reshape the consulting landscape, we are looking for individuals who are curious, adaptable, and eager to learn. At Crowe, consultants are expected to build both technical and transferable skills, think critically, and use technology to solve real business problems. In this role, you will continuously learn, collaborate across teams, and explore how tools, including emerging AI capabilities, can improve efficiency, insights, and client outcomes.

As you grow, you'll also begin to take ownership of client relationships, contribute to account strategy, and support the delivery of high-impact work. Developing a sense of account leadership, including understanding client needs, ensuring delivery excellence, and building trusted partnerships, is part of what sets successful consultants apart.

Success in this role comes from a growth mindset, strong communication skills, advanced critical thinking, and the ability to navigate new challenges with confidence.

About the Team

Crowe's NetSuite consulting practice helps organizations transform their finance and operational systems through the implementation and optimization of Oracle NetSuite ERP, a leading cloud-based enterprise resource planning platform. Our team works with clients across a range of industries to design, implement, and support scalable ERP solutions that improve financial visibility, streamline operations, and enable data-driven decision-making.

Our professionals combine deep accounting and operational expertise with technical NetSuite capabilities—including financial modules, workflows, reporting, integrations, and automation—to deliver end-to-end implementations and process improvements. As part of our growing consulting practice, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that help organizations modernize their finance functions and support long-term growth.

About the Role

Crowe seeks a NetSuite Implementation Senior Consultant to support ERP implementations for Manufacturing and Distribution clients. This role works directly with clients and project teams throughout implementation engagements, helping translate business requirements into effective NetSuite solutions. You will contribute across the full implementation lifecycle, including discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

The ideal candidate combines ERP consulting experience with strong NetSuite functional knowledge and an understanding of supply chain processes. Experience supporting manufacturing operations, inventory management, supply chain, order management, and related business processes is highly valued.

This role requires strong client-facing and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to manage key project responsibilities and deliver high-quality work with limited oversight. You will collaborate with client stakeholders across finance, operations, supply chain, warehouse, and production teams to understand business needs, configure solutions, and support successful implementations. Together with Crowe's project teams, you will help design scalable NetSuite solutions that improve operational efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance inventory visibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead NetSuite solution design across all core and advanced modules (Financials, Advanced Inventory, WMS, Advanced Manufacturing), ensuring business needs are met through scalable configuration and best-fit system architecture.
  • Own functional configuration of NetSuite, including workflows, saved searches, dashboards, custom forms, roles, and permissions - without performing hands‑on coding, but with a strong understanding of SuiteScript, Suitelets, and SuiteCloud architecture to guide technical teams effectively.
  • Collaborate with integration leads to design and validate data flows and interface architecture between NetSuite and external systems, including field mapping, API methods (SuiteTalk/RESTlet), and middleware approaches (e.g., Celigo, Boomi).
  • Evaluate and recommend solution approaches (standard vs. custom vs. SuiteApp) during design workshops and RTM reviews, balancing implementation speed, cost, and long‑term maintainability.
  • Support the development of Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and ensure alignment between functional requirements, system design, and technical specifications throughout the build lifecycle.
  • Act as a solutioning lead during Design Phase, partnering with functional consultants to drive business process mapping, gap‑fit assessments, and solution documentation aligned to PE‑backed client scaling needs.
  • Provide configuration oversight and quality assurance, reviewing proposed scripts, workflows, custom records, and data models for adherence to Crowe and NetSuite standards.
  • Serve as a cross‑functional escalation point for architecture or solution design decisions, ensuring technical feasibility and stakeholder alignment across workstreams.
Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
  • NetSuite Certifications – Suite Foundations, Administrator and ERP Consultant required.
Experience:
  • 4+ years of NetSuite experience with a focus on solution design, module architecture, or technical oversight roles.
  • Prior experience in multi‑entity, multi‑currency, or fast‑scaling environments.
